YAY! Last day of camp and I made it!
60,000 words! Woo hoo! It was a struggle, this time but I’m here at the end of it! YAY!
The story is so jumbled and confused and all over the place. I think the basic idea is good, but I suspect if I work with it any more it will be a rewrite after a bit of planning, rather than an edit of what I’ve written so far.
OMEDETO GOZAIMASU!!!!!!!
Great job, Heather! Just hope you’ll make it thru one more this year π
Me too! At least I have an idea for the next one though, so I can do a bit of planning and be a bit more organised for November.
Do u have magic water or something in Tassie? You never, ok rarely, lose your motivation π
I don’t have time to start research for mine, but might write a quick outline to show you girls soon. See what u think. Is u idea fantasy, historical, other?
I’m doing a YA novel – a nice change!
Lol – maybe so! We supposedly have the clearest air down here (well – our north-western most tip is apparently the cleanest air in the world anyway…) – maybe it’s that! π
Next one is another fantasy – either a sequel to Red Sky, or maybe a time travel one… I’ve got some vague idea’s for that but I’m not sure it’s novel length so at the moment the Red Sky sequel is winning. But at the moment I’ll just be jotting down ideas as they come to me – I won’t do any serious planning till October. I’ve still got to finish editing Faery Dream, and then move on to Red Sky.
We really need faery helpers to get everything done we want to finish!
But, let’s try and focus on one thing at a time π
Well done! Congratulations π
Thanks Dianne! π
